Wendy Bancroft

All of my work, all of my life, has had to do with helping people tell their stories.

I've done this as a journalist, story producer, and show host with CBC; as a researcher and writer with two national research organizations; and as a writing guide and mentor.

For the last decade I've been helping others write about meaningful times in their life using the Guided Autobiography method.

I hold a master's degree in political science from the University of British Columbia, and I am a member of the International Center for Life Story Innovations and Practice (University of Connecticut).

In 2022, I was honoured to receive the James and Betty Birren Award for Excellence in Practice, from the International Center for Life Story Innovations and Practice.
